Welcome to PYS Baseball!
The 2010 Baseball Season is coming!
Baseball registration will begin Feb 5 and conclude Feb 27

Peyton Youth Sports (PYS) Baseball offers local kids an opportunity to be active, learn valuable life lessons, and have fun while enjoying America’s favorite pastime. PYS baseball provides opportunities for all kids ages 4 through 15. PYS baseball is chartered with the nation wide organization Babe Ruth League, Inc. Babe Ruth League has established structure and regulations for Cal Ripken Baseball (ages 4 through 12), Babe Ruth Baseball ages 13 through 15, and Babe Ruth Baseball ages 16 through 18. Cal Ripken baseball is further structured into the T-ball, Rookies, Minors, and Majors divisions. The local league specifies T-ball for kids ages 4 through 6 and Rookies for ages 7 through 8. The Minors and Majors divisions are designated for kids ages 9 through 12. We are once again implementing the registration cutoff on Feb 27. The cutoff provides time for tasks associated with planning and management of the program such as: Ensure teams are sized to optimize instruction and play time opportunities for the kids. Collect and evaluate coaching applications and select coaches, or recruit coaches if necessary. Ensure all coaches have the opportunity for training. Etc.
